"Exceptional"
This 6 bedroom resort is lakefront and very quiet and relaxing. Built in the 60s, its recently been purchased by the granddaughter of the original owner. Chauncey and her team took over 2 weeks before our visit and are working hard to make the lodge a destination retreat; it would be great for reunions or small weddings. The dining room wasnt officially open but Chef Michelle cooked a terrific dinner just for the three of us so we wouldnt have to drive to the nearest town. We sat lakeside and sipped wine, watching osprey and an eagle. There were lions in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and cant say enough about the great service. Well be back

Amazing!!! A nature lovers paradise. Beautiful location. I loved everything! This place is a real gem! I highly recommend this spot for anyone who needs to get away for a few days and unwind. Convenient location just outside Bangor. I had a business event at Cross Arena and chose this spot instead of downtown. I had my coffee and breakfast on the deck in the warm sun while I listened to the birds and enjoyed the water view! The water was crystal clear! WOW! Best hospitality EVER! I will definitely rebook! I'm from Portland Maine. This was well worth the drive!

This was a one night stay. It is an absolutely pristine location, right on a lake which is peaceful and clean. The facility itself is a quaint, comfortable and cozy place and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on our one night stop.

The staff did everything possible to assure us of a comfortable stay, one that equaled our highest expectations. We could view the lake and shoreline as we enjoyed breakfasts that were lovingly prepared to meet our needs.

It is a beautiful little getaway and breakfast was amazing. We are also able to enjoy some canoeing on the lake and a relaxing fire in the evening.

Quaint family owned inn. Although it is located about an hour away from Adacia, it's lakeside location was worth the drive.

Wonderful, peaceful and clean, I loved everything about this place including the morning breakfast. Our hosts were very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, the towels were very fluffy. If you are looking for quiet getaway, this is the place to come.

Beautiful location on the edge of a peaceful and beautiful lake. Canoes and kayaks are available for use free of charge. And there is a dock and small entry slope for swimming. We saw bald eagles nesting on a nearby island. The hotel lit the campfire next to the lake and we sat out chilling and chatting with other guests under the full moon. A truly memorable night. Breakfast was excellent too.
